| Everest Homes are sustainable and build to maintain their structural integrity for hundreds of years. Every Everest Home is built on a Pier and Beam Foundation (we don't want your foundation to break and all slabs break in North Texas' soil). Your pier and beam house foundation sets on bedrock. Since, the design and construction techniques are employed to keep moisture out of the structural members the integrity is preserved. Materials selected and used in the process are tested and proven to perform under all climatic conditions, protecting the structure from damage. Our homes are designed to require less maintenance. All exterior trim, decking, and cladding never need waterproofing, painting or sanding due to the materials used. As the only ventilation is mechanical, and incoming air is filtered, dust accumulation is almost non-existent. Predominately wood, tile and natural stone floors eliminate carpet shampooing and / or replacement. Hard surface wall coverings in splash and cooking areas, as well as stairway and game room walls reduce re-painting and make clean up easier. Rubber sidewalks (recycled tires) eliminate the need for concrete repair or replacement. They are also safer and more comfortable to walk on. Steel class 4 shingles are warranted for a period of fifty years and are hail damage proof. |
