Everest Homes provide roofing that reflects over 70% of the suns radiant heat.
We insulate Demilec Foam creating an R factor of 44 to 48, install windows and doors that exceed
Energy Star Standards.The underlayment of the shingle is an adhesive type to prevent water wind and ice penetration of the structural members.
Each home is sealed tight allowing neither wind nor water penetration into the structure, government inspectors use a
blower door test to insure the air tightness of each home. The house is double wrapped, the first wrap allows moisture
from inside the home to escape and the second wrap keeps moisture from the exterior out of the home.
The double wrap system insures the structural integrity and longevity of the home. Additionally, each home is
equipped with a Geothermal Heat Pump reducing energy consumption by 50% for heating and cooling.
The lighting packages in each home use only 20% of the average incandescent bulb lighting for the same
illumination. All appliances are Energy Star rated.
